Meaghan (better known to the Myers and Northeast family as "Fitzy") began her dance training at age 2, and came to Myers Studio in 2000. Meaghan joined the Myers staff in 2003. Throughout her time with Myers she has taught, ballet, jazz, pointe, choreography, kinesiology, and dance history. Since joining Northeast Ballet Company, Meaghan has performed in many of the Company's pieces, including their annual productions of The Nutcracker, Stories that Dance, and WRGB's Melodies of Christmas. Meaghan graduated from the State University of New York at Geneseo in 2008 with her B.S.Ed in Childhood and Special Education and from The University at Albany in 2009 with her M.S. in Literacy. She is currently the first grade teacher at The Albany Academy. At Myers, Meaghan currently teaches ballet and serves as an Assistant Artistic Director and Rehearsal Assistant to Northeast Ballet Company.
